Only by being everything I can will I truly live my one wild and precious life.

I plan to live as an artist and a businessman; a scholar and an entrepreneur; an agent for change and a keeper of the faith. I want to live in this world as a lover and a fighter; as its fruit and as its protector; as a father and as a son. I seek focus. I seek a broad sense of purpose. I want to stay up late, get up early, and do something new. I want to be your friend. I want to bike across Europe. I want to talk to the girl on the bus. I want to make my mom proud. I've got a lot to do. Better get back to work...

But first, more than anything else, I need to get away from the desk at which I write and go outside and breathe the air.
