I am going to prove, once and for all, and beyond a reasonable doubt, that it is possible to compute Internal Rate of Return with one hand and empty the compost bucket with the other. I am going to figure out just what a nurture capitalist really is. I am going to be a founding member of the Slow Money Society, dedicated to funding Slow Food projects and other vehicles for promoting organic food and healthy local food systems.
I answer Mary Oliver with a poem of my own, in accord with which I am trying to live.
I
There is only one work: solar harvesting.
There is only one play: dancing under the moon.
II
There is only one truth: self in relation to other.
There is only one beauty: truth apprehended selflessly.
III
My pee is in that pile.
When I think of you, I smile.
To do whatever I can to slow money down, to push money down the food chain. To produce the first Annual Report in verse.
