Eat, drink, dance, laugh, learn, love and work. But beyond relishing these basic joys, hmmm... I haven't the faintest idea what the world has in store for me. Lately I've stopped pretending that I really have much say in the matter. I know I will find inspiration and guidance from theater, films, books and artists of all sorts in all of my pursuits. And I hope to keep my work as meaningful as what I do now for Heifer International promoting sustainable agriculture as a method for ending hunger and poverty, while empowering women, families and communities in 49 countries around the world. I will continue to make plays and films, maybe someday a novel and books for kids. And I want to have a family. Plus I speak Chinese, and while I haven't managed to figure out where that fits in, it was no easy task so I'd better find a way to make it worth the effort. I am open to suggestions. And now I wonder, will I find the time for the simple pleasures I was so certain of pursuing? Yikes. Hi. Nice to meet you.
