I am in training to [grow up to] be a very old, very radical, very funny Jewish lady - who is still making movies and still making trouble.

I want to look back and know in my heart I/we did all we could to insure environmental health and justice for children and strangers we have not met and are not even related to. How did we do it? With humor, great music, stealth wisdom, really good food and heedlessly shameless optimism.

Till then I want to keep making documentaries that have the capacity to reach out of a t.v. set or into a movie theatre and embrace an overwhelmed "I heard it already" audience and make them laugh.

Laughing in the face of toxic chemical exposure and heinous corporate behavior is a radical act that has the power to topple cynicism, challange our collective acceptance of cancer as "inevitable" and . make trade association executives kishkes' (guts) churn with wonder and conciousness/dismay/worry/agita.... Its one of those words
